Island in the Sky is an alternative rock band from Calgary formed in January 2014 by Brad O’Neill, Spencer McIntosh, and Willis Sturrup. Drawing influences from artists like the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cage the Elephant and Jimi Hendrix; Island in the Sky creates a diverse sound including hard hitting funk songs, upbeat reggae songs and mellow ballads.
